Hello I’m Savannah but you can call me Sav. Sav Nav Photography is my photography page. A place where I can show you my work and inspiration for capturing moments through a lens. I am currently using a Cannon 100D to snap shots that catch my eye.
I’ve always been fascinated with pictures, how an image froze a space in time for you to look back on and remember memories. However it wasn’t until I took higher photography in my last year of high school (Which I got an A band 2 pass on). I learned in Higher Photography that photography wasn’t about, just picking up a camera and clicking a button. That ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed and a tripod can all determine if your going to get a good picture or not.
Choose A camera. Choose the right Aperture, ISO and Shutter Speed. Choose a tripod, because it makes your picture a lot better. Choose getting up early and not having a social life, cause you put your heart and soul into each and every shot.
Choose spending hours upon hours taking photos only to get home and find out that only a few pictures turned out right.
Choose the early rising and late nights.
Choose research, influential photographers and camera techniques. Choose critically analysing an image, subject, depth of field, leading lines and everything else.
Only to open your envelop of your printed images to find out that your hard work paid off.
Be addicted to Photography.
